Italian by birth but Mauritian by heart, and with over 25 years of experience in the kitchens of well-known hotels, catered for prestigious clients in many differents countries, Fabio De Poli, chef and owner, started his own business 8 years ago and opened his restaurant La Table du Château, Mauritius. Third place for all Africa Best Fine Dining Restaurants in 2019, Traveller’s choice award in 2018, and having many times, outside catering requests, he decided to create his own catering in 2019 and opened his laboratory at The Vale, in the North of the island.
Four hundred square meters of hot and cold kitchen, with all HACCP standards, a refrigerated truck and isotherm boxes, positive and negative cold chambers, Chef Fabio de Poli and his team offer a wide variety of tasty and inventive food from different cultures. They’re redefining food and catering to whole another level by rigorously selecting ingredients and spices to procure unique delicious flavors, and culinary flare.
Chef Fabio de Poli and his team are pleased and well equiped to cater for up to 1000 people, and propose buffets, dinner cocktails, seated gala dinner, “à la carte” menus, in any location in Mauritius and for any events such as Corporate events, weddings, anniversaries, baptisms, birthdays and many more.
